flying buggy maverick

A single look, and you can say that the I-Tec Maverick isn’t the best looking thing you’ve come across. It’s basically just a frame covered in fabric, and though it may not score much in looks, when it comes to function, this thing is pretty much amazing. It can move on the roads, it can fly, float and even work as an ATV hybrid.

Maverick can move at highway speeds on the ground, fly up to the height of 300 feet, while moving at 40 mph. Its hydraulic steering wheel works normally on the ground, but when in air, it controls the parachute canopy. Transition from a ground vehicle to flying mode can be completed in less than 10 minutes, and if the need be, you can add floats and use its rear-mounted composite propeller for gliding on the waves.

With the long list of functions it can perform, and its ability to handle different terrains, the 1000 pound buggy powered by a 128hp Subaru engine can easily fulfill its function of reaching disadvantaged people in remote jungle areas. The Maverick was displayed at the AirVenture show in Oshkosh.
