Mitsubishi Concept RA img

Mitsubishi developed the Concept-RA as an ‘MMC Technology Showcase’. The concept is powered by a clean-diesel engine. Concept-RA has a dynamic control system and a somewhat different design. Mitsubishi has used its ‘green’ plastic based resins freely in the interiors of the concept, to reduce the carbon footprints of the vehicle.

The vehicle has an exposed engine cover and the engine is clearly visible at the hood. The engine is a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16-valve turbo-diesel engine with MIVEC that delivers 150kW with a torque of 420Nm. Numerous other gadgets work with the clean diesel engine to pull down the emissions from the concept. The concept is also endowed with Mitsu’s S-AWC and twin-clutch SST. Covered in red color, the concept rolls on 21-inch wheels.
