The BMW M5 and the M6 have been recognised more familiarly as house on wheels for they blend together almost everything desired for in terms of something that actually comes to life on a wheel.
Talk about class and the German luxury sedan would put the word opulence to shame and talk about power; the 500 horses under the lid give acceleration a different meaning. So where was all that need to give it a revv-up in the real sense, yet, since Dinan took the pains, lets just see what the German marvels could do now.
They were earlier bragging of the 500 horses which would now me termed standard as a new 5.7 liter V10 beast enables the car to top it out at 628 horses with 482 lb-ft of torque. The 0 to 60 acceleration timings aren’t yet out but let me guarantee you that it ain’t anything more than 4 seconds.
More power means stronger lungs to breathe through and for that very reason Dinan added high throttle bodies, free flow mufflers and a racing middle exhaust. I am desperately waiting to hear from someone who drives an M5 or an M6 of this high stature, the man wouldn’t stay anything less than mesmerized.
