Ok, so this has got to be the most revolutionary bit of car design, or shall we say re-design, I have seen in my whole life. According to a new concept being tried out currently involves ridding the cars of the almost archaic but almost universal hinges-and-latch-swing-out doors. Called the Rotary Drop Door or the Disappearing Car Door, this new car door prototype slides out and hides itself beneath the floor of the car allowing all the passengers to step out of the car at once, which is great if you’ve been in a crash and the car has managed to land on its roof or tyres and has had the fortune of not being surrounded by any kinda obstructions, though we are really tempted to ask what are the chances of that ever happening? Anywho, Jatech, the designer of the door seems quite optimistic that the door will truly revolutionize the automobile industry in the years to come and we wish him the best of luck with his new venture.
