If you bought a £50,000 ($82,550) vehicle only to face an unending stream of problems, you’d sure be pissed. This Range Rover Sport HSE owner though upped the ante and took a dig at the automaker and the dealership in Colchester, Essex (UK) by parking his vehicle in front of the dealership with none too flattering remarks about the car.
Letters on the side of the Rover read “If you want trouble free motoring do not buy one of these!!!” while those on the windows reveal the list of problems the owner faced, “Problems with . . . 6 front ball joints, 4 front arm bushes, new seat base, front and rear n/s [nearside] struts, full n/s suspension unit, anti-roll bar bushes, air con.” Parked in front of the dealership, the SUV can’t really be good for business; still, the staff is helpless in getting it removed because it is parked on a public road!
The showroom has decided against revealing the owner’s identity. As part of its “goodwill policy,” Land Rover has offered to help the owner “into a new vehicle.”
