For anyone who has been unfortunate enough to have lost lower limb function to paraplegia, leading a normal life can be quite daunting. And if the person in question happens to be a biker, the pain is all the more doubled. But a West Australian designer Darren Lomman has now found a way to let paraplegic bikers the chance to be able to pursue their passion again. Aptly named Dreamfit, the concept vehicle features thumb-activated pneumatic rams for foot-free gear shifting, a combined braking system, and custom molded ergonomic cups to hold the rider firmly in place without any lower body strength as well as a cool set of steel braced landing gear wheel that drop and maintain stability when the rider shifts to lower speeds. Though the motorcycle is still a prototype, the heavily modified Honda CBR250RR is already road licensed and ready to vroom on with a little help from willing investors.

Yet another example of sheer human willpower. It is people like Darren Lomman who rekindle hope for those who have lost theirs.
