Now all you people at Manhattan can slip away from the hectic environment for a time ‘back in the history’ at DRV-IN, Manhattan’s one and only drive in cinema. You can enjoy a classic movie on a projection screen, sitting in a 1965 Ford Falcon converty.
All this happens in a narrow garage, with imitation of starry night above and a potted oak tree to pretty things up a little and if you want to grab a munch there is a pop-corn stand as well. This setting is among lower east side’s most warm experiences.
While enjoying some classics that start from the 60s, chronologically moving ahead with each night, it takes you to a spell bounding drive passing by milestones from four decades of cinematic achievements, seven days of the week and twice a night.
This drive costs around $75 for you and five other of your friends. The list of movies takes in some of the movies like Psycho, Dr. Strangelove, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the Graduate and whole lot of other choices.
