Hummer

Here is an interesting reading from kaljundi.blogspot. The blogger, Juri Kaljundi, who hails from Estonia itself, posts on the Estonian love for Hummers. Apparently, Estonians have a thing for big cars — Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes S600, Audi A8 or BMW 7-series. However, none of these can compare to the love they have for a Hummer.

He says:

We have a tiny country and we are quite poor, but we have 50 Hummers. And we keep buying more of them. They are just so big and sexy. Like nothing else.

Estonia’s leading daily newspaper, ripaev, has proudly declared the country as the world leader in Hummer vehicles per capita. Though poor, Estonians would spend all they have to buy a car - that too, the most expensive car around.

Kaljundi ends with the hope that every Estonian would own a Hummer someday. Therefore, I too would like to end on the same note - truly wishing that the roads of Estonia would be flooded with Hummers very soon.
