If you happen to have read anything ‘Ferrari’ that I have written before, then it is obvious that you will know that I’m crazy about the Scuderia Ferrari and the prancing horses delight me beyond all measure. There is something very special about a Ferrari and driving one would be more akin to a religious experience than a mere drive around for a Ferrari mark like me. Here is a very interesting design by an amateur designer who is just 17 and wishes to actually design a Ferrari one day.

The Ferrari 599 GTB Maranello is a design for a genuine Ferrari two-seater, powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine. Due to the use of the environmentally friendly hemp fiber, the 599 GTB has a minimum weight of 1.5 tons. The advanced streamline guarantees great performance at any speed. The maximum speed of this racer is way above 300 kph. The aim for this design was to make the classic Ferrari design language revive. The car takes heritage of icons like the 365 GTC/4.

The car looks as aggressive as any Ferrari around and while I like the sketch, I really think that you cannot judge a Ferrari without painting it Scarlet Red. Now if the car was actually finished like a Ferrari in terms of the outer layer, then it would really give us the right visual about how it would look as a member of the elite band. Jeroen Claus has done a fine job though with the design.
