It may be one of the hottest cars on the planet scorching tracks across the world, but now it has just got a lot tastier than you would ever imagine. Ferrari is know to produce vehicles of immense quality and outstanding style, but now you can add sweetness and taste to that long list of outstanding Ferrari features. The Ferrari F1 car has just gone chocolate and there is plenty of it around.
A life-size chocolate model of a Ferrari Formula 1 car has been unveiled in Italy. Confectioners apparently spent more than a year making the car out of 4,405lbs (2,000kg) of Belgian chocolate. So I guess it was as tough to make as the real car itself and took as much time as people at Maranello would take to design an actual Ferrari F1 car. It has now been delivered to Sorrento, near Naples, where it will be the centre piece of a Ferrari owners’ club party. Now that surely must be one heck of a party.
Luigi Liberti, president of the Scuderia Ferrari Club Napoli, said that it will go on display until this weekend and then will be smashed up with hammers and handed out to party guests. The guests will be given bits of the car to take home in a special bag! The £12,000 ($24,000) chocolate Ferrari is based on an F2008, and has a red, edible coating. It has those trademark Bridgestone wheels and I am guessing this one is the softer compound. Now to make such a car and then to eat it all away is one good idea. I just hope someone mails me a piece- a big chunk.

This will save your tool box with a lot of usage. But still you can’t use the car itself. But it’s good to know that there are a lot of Ferrari fans that will do anything to show their enthusiast with it.
