Ferrari is prepping its new supercar, it will be lighter, with a lower displacement engine but still have atleast 500hp. The 2+2 seater is likely to get its engine from the Millechili concept shown earlier this year.
Though the Millechili concept was nothing but cardboard, it bragged about a twin-turbocharged, direct-injection, 3.0L V8 that could pump out 550hp for the car.
Ferrari’s No-It’s-Not-A-Dino car is likely to be a 2+2 seater with a 4.3L V8 under the hood. Further plans for Ferrari’s lineup have been left in the cold for a little while, courtesy the brand’s galloping popularity.
Plans for the 599 hardtop convertible have been put on hold for a while considering the 18-month long waiting list for the 599 coupe. The 612 will also remain unchanged until it gets a replacement in 2010.
