The Fiat Sapor concept was created by Diseno Art as a design proposal for the Fiat-Chrysler alliance. The concept intends to fill a gap in the model lineup of both the companies, and borrows from both Fiat and Chrysler in its outlook. It is intended to be an upgradeable sports car, and gets inspiration from the 2002 Dodge Razor concept. Power however, comes from the 1.4-l turbocharged, 180hp powerhouse from the Fiat Grande Punto Abarth EsseEsse.
The concept draws certain design cues from Fiat models of the past and the present. Its front has been retro-styled to reflect the Fiat 1600S and the Fiat 124 Spider. Uncluttered lines on the Sapor are again reminiscent of classic retro Fiats.
