city car at the mit
The excuse of a traffic jam to your boss isn’t the best one nowadays even though it is a genuine one on most occasions. The problem is the fact that traffic congestion happens so frequently, the very excuse sounds bogus. Chronic traffic congestion affects every individual in some way or the other and it is high-time the concerned authorities start paying attention to it, so as to devise solutions for the same.

While the world keeps pondering, as in most cases, Uncle Sam takes lead in this scenario too. Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have designed a futuristic ‘City Car’ that doesn’t require a large parking space as it can fold into half and add to it the fact that it can drive itself , the dubbing truly does justice to its name.

The scientists at the MIT describe it as a virtual computer that has the capability to commute and more importantly adjust itself into a space where a normal car cannot be parked. The foldable frame empowers the car to park into eighth the space needed to park the average car. The go green motto has also been thoroughly adored as the car is electrically charged for motion.

The ground reality is the fact that the city car has been developed as a museum model and a full-scale model would be developed by this spring. There is no dearth of hope as the car would be developed to the manufacturing stage within the next three to four years. That would probably be the time by when the congestion would hoarsen and such commuters would be indispensable in saving the world from some unmatched trouble.
