The Fisker Karma plug-in hybrid generated waves, and the automaker is now planning a lower cost version to keep the $87,900 Karma company. Needless to say, the new model will compete with the Chevy Volt and the Tesla Model S. Reportedly, the company has received $85 million funds for the development of the new electric vehicle. The new car isn’t going to appear any time soon, at least an unveiling this year is unlikely.
