The high performance Focus ST will get a special edition, the Focus ST500. Merely 500 of these special models will be built, all for the UK. The new model is basically the ST3, with a few goodies thrown in.
ST500 will be finished in metallic black with a silver bonnet. The roof and sides will get striped to echo the GT40 that won LeMans way back in 1966. Unique to the model are leather Recaro sports seats with matching upholstery, limited edition badging, Xenon headlamps, rain sensing wipers and solar-reflect windscreen.
The special edition model is powered by Focus ST’s five-cylinder Duratec 2.5 engine that delivers 225PS and 320Nm of torque. Pricing for the ST500 begins at £20,495. The image above shows a Focus ST.
