Ford has announced that it will further expand its E-85 flexible fuel vehicle lineup by bringing the Ford Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and the Ford E-Series full size van and wagon into the fold. This step will make E-series the first over 8,500 lb. full size van to provide E-85 capability. While adding the option to the full size SUVs Expedition and Navigator, will help lower their carbon footprints.
With these additions, Ford’s E-85 lineup now includes seven
vehicles. The F-150, Crown Victoria, Lincoln Town Car and Mercury Grand Marquis are already available with the E-85 option. Ford will start taking orders for these new additions to the E-85 lineup in May this year, and production will begin in July.
