Ford Focus and Focus C-MAX have new members, the new S-MAX and Galaxy . These cars are well-known for being allergy friendly. With increasing number of people living with chronic breathing problems, Ford has come out to help such patients.
TUV an independent, German certifying organization for industrial and consumer products have passed these vehicles which avoid materials such as latex, chrome and nickel as they cause strong reactions. Besides, the vehicles are fitted with pollen filter which effectively act as a filter.
Dr Wolfgang Schneider, vice president, Ford of Europe stated, ‘Ford Motor Company takes the impact of allergies seriously. We are leading the industry in providing car interiors that are certified as allergy friendly’.
