Ford has been reeling under tough market conditions since a long time, but one segment they can always be proud of, irrespective off what they have gone through are the Ford Trucks... Ford clearly leads in this sector, be it in production or marketing or the ever so important, customer appreciation.
However, Ford is not satisfied with what it has achieved, which is a good signal thus it has further gone ahead and pepped up its existing super duty trucks to deliver more in all senses.
Ford has overhauled the super selling, super duty truck, the F-Series for its 2008 edition, which will go on sale, early next year. They also have a new version, the F-450 pick-up that is being termed as ford’s range topper. Check out its features:
→ can handle payloads in excess of 6,000 pounds
→ has a towing capacity of more than 24,000 pounds
→ powered by a 6.8 liter, 362 hp, V 10 Trinton gasoline engine OR
→ a new 6.4 Power stroke that delivers 350 hp, at 3,000 rpm and 650 lb-ft of torque starting at 2000 rpm

Apart, from the above mentioned range topper, there is a new capable workhorse to join the Ford armory ,The Ford F-450 pick-up.
Group VP North American marketing sales and service, Cisco Codina said,
We’ve been able to attract customers and pull big share numbers with Super Duty because we made the decision to set Super Duty apart from the rest of the segment. We’ve built our leadership reputation over time. Just being able to say that we’ve been America’s best-selling truck for 29 years says that we’ve been here, understanding and consistently meeting the needs of the true truck customer.

This quote mentions that Ford has been Americas best selling truck for 29 years ... If Ford continues climbing up the ladders of innovative designing and technology, like the way they are, ford will run short of competitors(in the truck segment ) in times to come.
