To the relief of many, gas prices have fallen to an average of $2.997, according to AAA daily report of national gas prices. This new figure is especially noteworthy as gas prices reached almost $3.03 last week after BP’s Alaskan pipeline shut down. On GasBuddy.com, gas price after the pipeline shout up from $2.983 a week before, to $3.016 and $3.025.
