An electric car from US has become so popular amongst the police force of the country that it has traveled all the way across continental borders to land in Britain. The reason for it’s popularity seems to be it’s fuel efficiency and environmental friendly nature. The all-electric Gem was made by Chrysler and is being used by the police force in New York, Miami and Los Angeles. The Gem doesn’t look as cool as the cars usually preferred by the L.A.P.D and would be mistaken for a mini-goods carrier, if not for the painted over lettering signifying it as a Police vehicle. The zero-emission car can do 450 miles per gallon but is only permitted a speed of 50mph without being charged. However, the police could definitely set an example for others by using environmental friendly vehicles.

But it looks like a delivery car instead. You can have something not that good looking but not that bad. Police cars need to be hybrid, safe and environment-friendly. That’s why this is two-thumbs up. I’ll put this one on my Car Journal and share to others, maybe some car manufacturers would be that interested.
Only in California can they define a car as zero emissions when it uses electricty, none of which is produced with zero emissions. Hope it would not become Bloody Car, hope it has its all safety equipments too.
