German tuners Gemballa have introduced the upgraded GTR 800 EVO-R, based on the sleek stylish features of Porsche 911 but with greater power and torque. Gemballa concentrated mainly on the car’s fascia, wheel arches and the engine.
GTR 800 EVO-R gets an updated vented front bonnet, lower lip, GT headlights, tweaked rear bumper and dual-wing carbon spoiler that makes it look like the mighty Carrera GT. Engineers at Gemballa worked on the Porsche’s engine to include Garret T035 turbochargers. Working with GT3-R heads, machined cranks and special connecting rods, the engine capacity is increased to 3.8-L; to give the car 935Nm torque and a whopping 850hp.
The width of the vehicle has been increased to accommodate the enlarged front and rear wheel arches that shelter 19-inch Yokohama AVS Sport tires.
