
In the latest 2006 AutoVIBES Demographic Survey conducted by Harris Interactive and Kelley Blue Book Marketing Research, Chevy’s Cobalt was chosen as the most wanted vehicle by Gen Y interviewees.
More than 212,600 Cobalt were sold in 2005. It also got maximum number of buyers under the age 34 among all GM vehicles. With the increasing numbers of accessories installed, like Stage 2 Kit, younger generation are strongly drawn to the car.
Since its launch in 2004, Cobalt has won accolades like Consumer Guide’s 2006 Recommended Buy designation and was selected as the Best Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in frontal crash tests.
The starting price is $12,990 and Cobalt can be had in LS, LT, LTZ and supercharged SS performance models.
