GM will be the star attraction again at 2006 Tribeca Film Festival. GM’s Cadillac and Saturn have a huge role to perform at the show which was founded by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff in 2002 in response to the attacks on the World Trade Center.
Being the sponsor it will also provide its vehicles to all the VIPS and celebrities gathered there as a way of promoting their new launches. Cadillac will display the all-new 2007 Escalade and XLR-V on the premier night and Saturn will display its new vehicles including the 2007 SKY, and VUE Green Line at the Shorts Filmmaker Party.
Saturn will also be sponsoring the Online Festival Shorts section and the Best Narrative Short and Best Documentary Short competition.
