To celebrate 50 years of the Beatles, MINI has come up with a reinterpretation of George Harrison’s psychedelic Mini. Harrison received the car as a gift from Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein in 1966, and had it painted in psychedelic images with yantras and Sanskrit mantras. Since the year coincides with Mini’s own celebration, they’ve recreated Harrison’s Mini Cooper S. The car will be handed over to Olivia Harrison at the MINI United event, and will eventually be auctioned off, with proceeds going to Material World Charitable Foundation.
