GM signed a deal with its Chinese joint venture, Shanghai General Motors for export of vehicles to China. The deal is pegged at more than $800million, and will see made in USA Buick Enclaves roaring on Chinese roads.
Buick Enclave is built at GM’s Lansing Delta Township assembly plant in Lansing, Michigan. GM signed a similar deal for export of $700 million worth of Cadillacs and automotive components to China, in May this year.
With the UAW strike and crisis looming large, GM may have to work hard to keep up on this deal.
