go karting goes hydrogen
I suppose the most amazing aspect about evolution of automobile technology in the last few years is that it has taken a wonderful eco-friendly path that is headed towards a green future. This is the point where technology meets ecologic gains and green measures. I suppose it is not just the fact that top firms are bothered about the planet, but they also see green future as the only possible future for them. With depleting fossil fuel reserves, shifting to alternate energy sources is a viable option in the long term future.

This prototype is the work of students from the Polytechnic College of La Alumina (EUPLA), which is located in Tokyo, is a car made with the intention of competing in a contest of cars powered by hydrogen in which universities around the world. This Kart is the first in the world that runs on hydrogen. We have already seen a few weeks back that the Indy Series has shifted to Biofuel to make sure the future is clean. Now that has spread and evolved in the Go-Karting circuit.

The power of the vehicle is 35 hp, while the karts that involve in racing usually do not exceed 12. Its weight is 250 kilograms and can reach 135 miles per hour. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than 7 seconds and can run 40 minutes after a single charge of hydrogen. The vehicle can convert the Hydrogen in to water. If that is the only exhaust (and it is) coming from this car, then here is an exhaust that is most welcome. The Kart really is a step ahead in developing the use of alternate energy and that is most welcome indeed.
