Google has offered help to those ‘lost’ on the road by making the Google Mapping Service available at Gas Stations. From December this year, 3,500 pumps throughout the US will offer this service, with more to come on base of demand.
Gas pumps offering Google’s maps will be connected to the internet. The customer can look at the maps on the pump’s screen and take printouts if required. Consumers will also be able to use Google’s local business listings by category.
