GT Crossover concept hinges on the literal meaning of the term Sports Utility Vehicle. Designer Sam Johnson’s performance SUV has a 1+1 seating and asymmetric design, and unlike a majority of SUVs nowadays that are being created for urban use, this design is about “modern sports and realistic usability.”
It is an electric vehicle powered by a 190hp motor that should take the 950kg vehicle from zero to 62 mph in six seconds. The asymmetric design gives the concept unconventional looks, and its 24-inch wheels should work well with off-roading duties. According to the designer, if the vehicle ever rolls out of production lines, it will cost somewhere near the $49,000 mark.
