A man in Ukraine has built the car of his dreams. Since an automaker building a car like this is next to impossible, Vasily Lazarenko set out to give a shape to his dream himself. The wooden car came out after one and a half years of toil in the garage, and its creator had to give up his job and sell his two other vehicles.
The wooden car is striking because it converges two different designs, one half of the car sports a vintage look while the other half is a modern design. Lazarenko says the most difficult part of the job was to maintain a harmony between the two halves of design.
Made of thousands of oak parts, the body was assembled with glue and bolts. There are five layers of waterproof and fire resistant lacquer for the wooden car. The car is powered by a 100hp engine. Lazarenko does not want to reveal the cost of the car, but adds that he is willing to sell it if he gets enough money to fund his next project.
