Fresh out of the Green Vehicles’ stable, the Triac is a cute three-wheeled electric wonder that for some strange reason is being called a ‘car’ by all and sundry. Harmless exaggerations aside, this funky little eco-design is actually made to slug it out with the big boys on the highway with an 80mph top speed. And once you charge it fully from a 120V or 240V power source, you’re good for a 120 mile drive without ruining the planet with noxious fuel emissions. The 5-speed (manual?) transmission system on this eco-puppy will be matched to a 20kW AC motor which apparently houses the world’s most sophisticated battery maintenance systems to allow you to get the most out of the lithium ion battery pack. Since the car looked good enough on paper, we thought we’d go out and get you a demo vid for the cute ride as well.
