Australia has received a new variant for the Commodore, the VE Sportwagon. The new vehicle comes loaded with some innovative and cool features. The tailgate hinges go well into the roofline to allow the tailgate to open wider while using less space.
Gadgets include a roof mounted DVD player, Bluetooth capability, multi-function driver information display system, and front and rear park-assist systems. Commodore Sportwagon can seat five people, the rear seat may be folded to create a larger storage space.
There are measures to go environment friendly and increase fuel economy. The concept displayed has a V8 with Active Fuel Management (AFM) and E85 Flex Fuel capability.
Holden VE Commodore on display in Sydney is a production concept, and will go into production in the first half of next year.
