Honda and FILA have come together with a collection of racing shoes. The new shoes are available in four colors and low or mid top variants. For whatever it is worth, they say the shoes display “Honda Racing’s commitment to fulfill every car enthusiast’s racing dreams.” Since Honda is involved, the shoes have done a bit of extra work in becoming “driver friendly.”
The shoes have cupped polyurethane heels, a “ballistic” mesh for breathability, low profile outsoles and are lightweight. Outsoles are supposed to help the driver have better control over the pedals, and the low weight obviously means less fatigue. Well, that’s the marketing yada-yada for you.
