Earlier we informed you about a new addition in the 2008 Honda lineup, the Honda S2000 CR roadster, which surely looks inspired by the club racing events.
The open track day events and the club racing events which are gaining popularity at a mass level led the way for this new add up.
The car looks more race oriented, with suspension settings fitting idle for the track, some newer and improved aerodynamics, high level of rigidity and cutting down the extra pounds overall for an enhanced racing performance.
To discuss the intricacies would be a folly for we have already discussed them before but what we didn’t mention that time was the pricing.
The S2000 CR will come with a price tag of $36,935 which includes the shipping charges.
The car has officially gone on sale yesterday and as you all know it is a stripped of version for removing that extra weight. You will have to pay a $1000 extra for uploading the car with an air conditioning system and a music player.
It’s a reasonable price when compared with other roadsters available in the market and when you consider that it bears a Honda moniker, the price seems even more reasonable.
As far as Honda is concerned, the company would be pleased to have a performance oriented roadster in their line-up.
