The Beast:

Honda has already stolen hearts with the S2000 model and rumor has it that the top men at the Honda headquarters are sketching an Open Study Model concept car to take the high-end Honda series into the next decade. The S3000 will be the Honda that will compete with the best of the BMWs and Ferraris in terms of sportscar performance and we are already getting the probable look of the car. While the image of the depicted S3000 is just a rendition by basing the S2000 design as the prototype, it gives an early and fairly accurate impression of what we can expect from the S3000.

The Machine:

The S3000 is said to carry under its hood a 3.0 liter V6 engine in all likeliness and that will help the car in terms of speed, performance, smoothness of the ride and the acceleration. This will ensure that the S3000 will race from 0 to 60 in matter of under 5 seconds. The car also might come with a 4-cylinder Honda engine, but that looks unlikely as Honda will have to compete with other high-end sportscars that are going to hit the road by 2011.

The Thrill:

While we can try and guess the design and the features as much as we want, none but the Honda team knows how exactly the S3000 is taking shape. The car will be unveiled in 2011 and while the prospect of another V6 sportscar is too good to resist, Honda will hope this one has more success than the S2000.
