It was last year when Ford asked the one and only Chip Foose, a legend in hot-rod designing to come over and cast a spell for the Ford F-150. And here it comes all spell bounding, the Ford F-150 Foose limited edition. There are just 1500 of them. The 2008 Ford F150 comes with a 3dCarbon body kit and can be seen in showrooms from early next year. Shortly after a while, 3dCarbon will start trading a separate bolt-on Foose F150 body kit.
It’s all new body kit comes in 8-piece body kit; a front air dam, 3-piece side skirts and a lower rear skirt. The kit will be available for any 06-08 F-150 and will make the vehicle look a little lower then its actual stature.
According to Chip Foose:
How the vehicle sits and how the wheels are proportioned to the body is the first essence to give it the illusion of something lower than it is.
The base for this limited edition show car can be traced back to Ford F-150 FX2 and comes with an intercooled and supercharged Trinton V8 engine which produces a massive 450 hp and 500 pounds/ft of torque. The car comes with more than a few suspension modifications and also a Ford Racing Exhaust system. The car drives on 22-inch Foose wheels with P275/45R22 Pirelli tires.
Good news for all of you Foose followers is that the car comes with lush leather interiors autographed by Foose.
