The Audi R8 is a cool ride and tinkering with it won’t be the best thing to do. Suspension specialists H&R did not tinker much with the machine and stuck to what they do best, improving the suspension. Their efforts bore fruit and the R8 came out with a better performance.
A sport spring kit from the tuners pulled the ride 15mm closer to the ground at the front, while the rear came down by 30mm.
What could this small change do? The R8 lapped Nordschleife in less than eight minutes, something it had not been able to do previously. The performance of the car also came close to Ferrari F430, whose engine pumps out 70hp more than that of the R8.
Small changes go a long way!
