Canadian automakers are little known and arguably still in their nascent stages. So when an automaker from Canada launches a supercar, it could well be a ‘bomb’. Canadian carmaker Locus is ready to move into production with its Supercar HTT Locus Plethore, also termed the ‘Quebec Bomb’!
The car will run on a six-speed 8.2 liter V8 and will be available in 750hp and 1300hp versions. The horsepower is good enough, to be modest. The fastest car in production, the Bugatti Veyron has a horsepower of 1001, the Enzo Ferrari produces nearly 651hp and the iconic McLaren F1 came with 627hp.
Locus Plethore seems to take a lot from the McLaren F1. This 3-seater has the same set of staggered ‘V’ seating found in the McLaren F1. This is supposed to give a greater visibility and control to the driver. The body has been made with lightweight Carbon fiber and offers comfortable seating to people upto 6′6′ in height.

This supercar comes with a price tag of $330,000 CDN. The first orders for this supercar will be taken by the end of this summer.
The Canadian supercar surely has a lot of people waiting and with only 400 rolling out each year, expect a long waiting list.
