To the sheer delight of the environmentalists, Swatch group Chairman, Nicolas Hayek has promulgated the notion, that Hydrogen based cars conquering global streets like a fleet, could be a possibility within the next three years. The first sentence could though give you a rosier picture than I want you people to asses, as there are certain conditions which would have to be met with, for all this to happen speedily as per Hayek. He has introduced a new plan, which would see the use of electrolysis/sunlight in breaking the water into separate oxygen and hydrogen molecules.
Hayek envisions a time where each one of us would have an individual hydrogen converter/ electrolysis device stationed in our houses and thus the need for setting up big factories to do the same would be eradicated. Talking about all this happening within the next three years, he mentioned that automobile manufacturers around the globe would have to channel their entire available workforce towards the development of eco-friendly vehicles energetically.
Hayek very famously developed the Spirit of Biel 20 years ago, which speaks volumes about his interest in saving the planet. His most recent venture is the Belenos Clean Power Company which has adopted a four-pronged approach to speed the development of hydrogen’s use in powering the cars.
