Images showing Hyundai’s new RWD Coupe next to its target competitor, the Ford Mustang have made way to the internet. Taken during a market research event, the images show both cars standing side-by-side. Both cars are covered in the same paint and have all badges and emblems removed.
Presence of the Mustang as the target model means the new RWD Sports Coupe will get the 4.6L V8 from the Genesis. Hyundai’s RWD Sports Coupe will first be released in Asia, most likely by the end of this year followed by a release in European and North American markets.
