We’ve seen an iPod Touch control a Mazda RX-8, but the modded r/c combo of Mazda and iPod Touch gets upped by the full fledged driving app, the iDrive. Appirion’s app lets the iPhone remotely control a car, with the phone’s accelerometer handling the steering while two buttons on the phone take care of acceleration and brakes. The car obviously has a whole lot of wires and systems to handle the commands, but that doesn’t make it any less of an awesome app.
