Design students are usually full of fresh ideas and their own perspective of things. Students from Italy’s famed IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) have prepared a showcar for the Geneva Motor Show. Called the Maserati Chicane Concept, the car is based on the current GranTurismo but maintains originality in design.
Chicane concept is a 2+2 seater powered by a front mounted V8. This project had backing and sponsorship from the likes of Pirelli, Cecomp and OZ Racing and also marks the presence of IED students at Geneva for the fifth time in a row.
