Mehrzeller’s Inhalt caravans aim to strike a balance between user customization and series production, a concept the call “mass customization.” The “multicellular caravan” is built by potential customers using an online configurator. This allows the user to customize the caravan to their will, from this point, the computer generates a configuration from the user’s inputs. Architects use this output to create an attractive and practicable result. And when we say the design looks odd, we can’t help marveling at its asymmetry.
