Ford Motors Corporation has recently given a hint that it will end the production of its Lincoln Mark LT, one among the highline versions from Ford, the Ford F-150 because of its discouraging demand.
But, all that cannot prevent Ford from bringing out its version of an all new upscale truck, The 2009 Ford F-150 Platinum Edition. Ford wants to keep this one under a thick cover as all other manufacturers try to, but we know the spies don’t we.
A few of the flicks of this extremely covered up LT made it to the internet; while the exteriors looked totally unrevealing we bring some flicks of its interiors which reveal quite a bit about it.
The new entrant will feature an updated steering wheel design and a new chromed gauge cluster which comes with a prominent platinum inscription. Its seats are somewhat superior to its current version as some fine leather work and a perfect edging (little similar to the King Ranch F-150) is evident.
The vehicle comes with a heavy duty styling and a slant forward sleeker cog thrower replaces the base ball bat shifter and tow mirrors. The pictures reveal a promising version at least by the look of the interiors bust a complete verdict can be given only when we see the entire package.
