There are those amazing automobile models that have been crafted by the cutting edge of science and green technology to be certified ultimately as ‘green chariots’ that will save the planet from an impending doom and cut down on your gasoline bills at the same time. But some bright bloke has taken away the title of having crafted the ‘Greenest Car’ on the planet by quite literally making the best possible green car in the simplest of fashion- turning to nature for help.

This fine example of green engineering was spotted in Kensington Market in Toronto, Canada. Humor aside, from what we learnt, the “Community Vehicular Reclamation Project” was created by a group of people in Toronto who’d like to see every abandoned junk car in the city turned into an “automotive” garden of plants and flowers. That means that Toronto could soon be full of cars that use plants for headlights and rear lights and more. The concept is indeed pretty cool and hopefully it will catch on in the auto world.

Every year the automobile industry produces tons of junk in the form of cars that are no longer fit to take a trip down the lane. Most of them end up being metal scrap and this is a fine way of restoring them without adding to the ‘Crap Count’. This is the second best way of using useless cars I have seen, while the first best use was dumping them in the Atlantic for fishes and Corals to make colonies on them. That is way, way more cool but this is pretty fun too! I approve.
