Funny what industries in China are up to. Chinese telecom industry is on a high and growing fast. But the electronic equipment industry is not far behind. Here’s an innovative mobile phone that looks much like the Audi A9 concept. A mobile-phone that is a car!
Battery for this phone is in the trunk of the car, and what would have been the exhaust pipe fares as a USB port. The phone comes with all the stuff that is more or less standard in the current range of mobile phones. It is capable of GPRS connectivity with MP3, MP4 playback.
This phone is currently available only in China and costs nearly $272 US. The Chinese industry is innovative, it would be much better if they could remove the ‘duplicate’ and ‘low-quality’ tags that have been strapped on them. Wonder if the manufacturer has a permission from Audi to use its design. If not, we may see another issue on the lines of tussle between Shandong HuoYun Electromobile and Daimler Chrysler, though this time it’s just a mobile phone.
