Were you there in the Comiket parking lot to watch some original Japanese work on Itasha? Well if you have got no idea what on the earth I am talking about let me tell you Comiket is the worlds largest comic convention held twice a year at Tokyo, Japan, making an effort for getting business for the self published work of art.
And speaking about Itasha it is a Japanese word, meaning ‘Painful car’, but for real, the word refers to decked cars with decorative stickers, some brilliant paint job with manga or game characters. The owners have their freedom to classify their own individuality and make there own statements through these work of arts.
As far as I am concerned what’s with the name Itasha, what were they thinking naming them Itasha or painful cars? Maybe the pain refers to the cars losing their identity because of the paint jobs, but then why do it!
Check out the stunning gallery to see how painful these cars look once they go through these decorations with toons embalmed everywhere.
