JCB, one of the world’s leading construction equipment manufacturers has built what it claims to be the world’s fastest diesel-powered vehicle ‘DieselMax’ to beat the 235.74mph diesel world record at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. To beat the record with a speed of 300 mph, JCB has constructed the most powerful diesel engines known at 150 bhp per liter. It will also de driven by Wing Commander Andy Green who set the first-ever supersonic world land speed record at 763.035 mph in ThrustSSC in the Black Rock Desert on October 15, 1997.
