
J.D.Power’s latest customer satisfaction study put’s Jaguar on the top spot for 2008. Power says Jag’s new sales process did the trick as it jumped 14 points from last year’s score to reach 907 points for 2008. Efficient paperwork/finance and delivery got hold of the top spot for the automaker.
Departing from convention, Asian automakers Honda, Toyota, Scion, Subaru, Suzuki, Hyundai and Mazda ranked below the industry average, and Mitsubishi went all the way to be placed at the bottom. Mazda, Dodge, Jeep and Nissan were also ranked close to the bottom, while Hummer, Lexus, Cadillac and Mercedes-Benz grabbed the top spots.

This ust goes to show that customer satisfaction surveys are pretty accurate: All the brands that were affordable for the middle class are at the bottom, while luxury makes are on top. It’s no wonder they can afford to provide a better shopping experience when they make twice the revenue on every sale.
