JCW has had a long and strong association with MINI, and now it is under the same roof as Mini. JCW will become and integral part of Mini and the product range will wear JCW label. Formula 1 design engineer John Cooper had tuned the Mini in 1961 and kicked off an association that goes on till this day, so much that the word Cooper has firmly attached itself to Mini.
JCW will offer the John Cooper Works challenge car that flaunts power output of 210bhp and has been bred for the racetrack. JCW will continue to supply its accessories, optional equipment and tuning kit for the Mini.
