John Deere is making its M-Gator A1 and R-Gator military vehicles available to a wider group of consumers. The M-Gator A1 comes with a 854cc Tier II Yanmar diesel engine, has keyless ignition and a dual radiator cooling system. The R-Gator was originally designed for recon in hostile situations, and is an autonomous, unmanned vehicle that can be controlled via laptop. No word on pricing yet.
